  1. Janja Garnbret (SLO)

Age: 22

Hometown: Šmartno pri Slovenj Gradcu

Height: 164cm

Strength: Lead climbing and Bouldering

Fastest speed climb: Villars 2021 - 9.15

2019 world rankings: Boulder 1st | Lead 2nd | Speed 48th

The one to beat in both Bouldering and Lead. Expect a few flashes in bouldering and potentially a top in lead because Janja is the most successful competition climber ever.

  1. Akiyo Noguchi (JPN)

Age: 32

Hometown: Ryugasaki-shi

Height: 167cm

Strength: Lead climbing and Bouldering

Fastest speed climb: Salt Lake City 2021 -9.12

2019 world rankings: Boulder 2nd | Lead 5th | Speed 57th

Climbing perfection, a close second to Janja in top performing athletes. Akiyo moves with such grace and fluidity that one might question if she is in fact a human or an elegant swan (we aren’t sure if swans climb well, but if they did it would look like Akiyo).

  1. Shauna Coxsey (GBR)

A stacked line up in the womens! Another incredibly successful competition climber, Shauna Coxsey.  Shauna recently announced that this would be her final International Event as a professional climber. It will be a sad farewell to an athlete that the climbing world has got to know so well but hopefully she leaves us with one final incredible performance.

  1. Aleksandra Miroslaw (POL)

The next generation through Japan. Miho has given her inspiration and idol, Akiyo a run for her money since hitting the world cup circuit and as Akiyo starts to age out of competition we will see Miho take that reign of Japan's strongest climber.

Still quite young Brooke has really made a name for herself as a real contender. It’s no surprise however when you look at her lineage, as the offspring of 2 world champions, Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou and Didier Raboutou.
